Ordering promotional products can be difficult if you haven't done it in the past. Here's a few tips to help your hard working promotional products supplier do a good job for you.

- your logo needs to be emailed in formats you've never heard of. They are .eps or .ai or the more common PDF. These files should have been supplied by your graphic designer / agency. - most items supplied in our industry are "spot colour" printed. That is the ink is mixed to a Pantone colour and printed onto the product you have ordered. - if your logo is being printed on a coloured or dark background [when you usually see it on a white background] dont expect to see an exact match on the finished job. - if you normally have your logo printed in spot colour but the promotional product your are ordering is produced in full colour [fridge magnets / stickers] dont expect an exact colour match on the finished job. - a good promo supplier will raise these issues with you before things get too involved. Remember - your promo supplier is creating a unique product everytime a bag or a t-shirt is decorated with a design.
